At Davey's Doggy Day Care we are a dedicated dog walking and care service run by an experienced dog owner/lover with a deep love for dogs of all breeds and sizes. With years of experience working and living with a wide range of breeds, from lively Jack Russells and French Bulldogs to strong and intelligent German Shepherds, Spaniels, and even the charmingly laid-back Basset Hounds, I’ve developed a solid understanding of each breed's unique traits and needs.

As an active flyball enthusiast, I train weekly with my own Spaniels and our local flyball team, which keeps me regularly engaged with various working breeds like Border Collies and the high-energy Belgian Malinois. This experience has given me the skills to work with dogs that have specific quirks and needs, ensuring they not only stay active but also mentally stimulated.

At Davey's Doggy Day Care, I believe that every walk should be enriching, not just a time for dogs to burn off energy. My goal is to provide an engaging, structured experience where dogs are encouraged to interact, practice recall, and enjoy stimulating games like "find it" to keep their minds active. Rather than simply letting dogs run freely, I make sure each walk is purposeful, with plenty of interaction, communication, and positive reinforcement to create a balanced, fulfilling experience.

Above all, I’m passionate about the bond that forms between humans and dogs. Their companionship is truly special to me, and I treat every dog I work with like a member of my own pack, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while in my care. Whether it’s a brisk walk, a training session, or just some fun playtime, Davey's Doggy Day Care is all about ensuring your dog has the best experience possible!
